Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using bidin.in ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or 13 with parental consent) to use bidin.in. Users in India must comply with the Indian Contract Act, 1872. By registering, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as needed. bidin.in reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Auction Rules

  • All bids are final and binding once placed.
  • Creators must accurately describe their items and deliver as promised.
  • Shill bidding (bidding on your own auctions) is strictly prohibited.
  • The platform may extend auctions that receive bids in the final minutes (anti-sniping).
  • bidin.in reserves the right to cancel auctions that violate guidelines.

5. Payments

All transactions are processed in Indian Rupees (₹). Payments are handled via UPI through our payment gateway. Funds from winning bids are held in escrow until the buyer confirms receipt. A platform commission of 5% is deducted from the seller's earnings.

6. Intellectual Property

Creators retain ownership of their original works. By listing on bidin.in, creators grant a limited license to display their content on the Platform. Buyers receive usage rights as specified by the creator in the auction listing.

7. Prohibited Conduct

  • Listing counterfeit, stolen, or illegal items.
  • Harassment, hate speech, or abusive behaviour.
  • Attempting to circumvent the payment system.
  • Creating multiple accounts to manipulate auctions.
  • Scraping or automated access without permission.

8. Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes between buyers and sellers, bidin.in will act as a mediator. Both parties agree to cooperate in good faith. If mediation fails, disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of courts in India.

9. Limitation of Liability

bidin.in is a marketplace platform and does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items listed. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
